Skype Lessons beginning in June!

Interested in lessons? Try lessons on Skype. It actually works really well. I teach beginners through advanced players. I offer lessons on acoustic and electric guitar as well as music theory and composition lessons.

Meet Zain from Pakistan whom I gave lessons to last summer...

I never had a Skype lesson before and this was the first time I had a guitar lesson online with Mr. Robert. Before we had the Skype session he asked me via email.     What I like to play?   What am i good at?   What are the things i am struggling at? Whom music do i follow? What Genre do i listen to?   In what scales do i like to play?     Even though these are some basic questions that any musician asks but this was different because he started to create a bond with me as a teacher via emails before we even got into the Skype session. He always replied in time and he was in time for the lesson on the specified day as though he was very well committed. So, on the day of the lesson we had already knew each other enough that we both were feeling very comfortable. I was like, I already knew him and we just got into our lesson in no time. During the lesson Robert used to listen to me very carefully and he tried to always understand what i was trying to ask him or if i was explaining to him any problem. I was struggling with improvising over backing tracks and in only one lesson he made me understand my weakness. When I started playing he noticed all my mistakes and pointed them out one by one while explaining how to fix these mistakes in the mean time. In only one lesson i felt that i have had a major improvement in my playing. And i was surprised about how much improvement I got in just a week. He also gave me some music sheets/tabs to learn from and they helped me a lot in improving my playing style.   This was one of the best experience that i had as a musician. I always wanted to try this and I think anyone who wants to learn guitar or if anyone wants to improve there playing style then he is the right man for the job. You can learn finger style, classical , solos over blues, rock n roll and many other genre. Especially for those who don't have access do good music teachers. Thank you for inspiring me and motivating to be a better musician than I already am. :)      -Zain Ali Khalid
